Connecting to Zoom with the Link

You will receive a text or email with a link that looks something like this…

- Click on the link “https://zoom.us/j/5827478537 (the number at the end will be unique)

- A screen should come up asking what you want to open it with.  You can continue in the web browser.

- After the host starts the meeting, you will be placed in a Waiting Room until they are ready to start your meeting

Meeting Audio and Video Setup

Once you have joined the meeting, you will need to enable your sound.  There will be an option to use “WiFi or Cellular Data” or “Dial in”. Click on the first option “Wifi or Cellular Data”…

Next you will need to start your Video by select the “Start Video” option…

You may receive a message to let you know that Zoom needs permission to use your camera. It will look like this…

After you hit “Got it”, then you should receive a pop up asking you to give permission. It may not look exactly like this. You will need to select the option that allows Zoom to use Video while using the app…

If you are not able to hear the other person, make sure that the sound is not muted in the top left corner. An X next to the sounds means it is muted. If it is, click on it to unmute…
